Read it, love it, pass it on.
Library Bookclubs
This year has seen the introduction of two new book clubs each with a unique focus.
Our first is called “Read it, Love it, Pass it on”.
This group is a response to a reading programme initiated by Penguin Publishers who initiated the “Read it, Love it, Pass it on” programme for interested NZ Secondary schools. Penguin provide (free of charge) a great selection of popular titles each term and these books are distributed to club members who simply read, love and pass on. The books are not library books and students are not required to return them to me. It’s a fabulous programme and our students are loving it.
Further to that we have taken up the “Wreck this Journal”competition where each participating school is sent a ‘journal’ to wreck. You can check it all out on Penguins Teen Facebook site. https://www.facebook.com/PenguinBooksNZTeen
